Part of The Four Women Doctors of the Church Series, St. Teresa of Avila was created by artist, Ruth Stricklin, for Xavier College Preparatory High School, Phoenix, Arizona while employed there. The series employs a blend of Western and Eastern iconogrphic styles and the use of 24k gold leaf representing Divine Light. A percentage of all sales of Women Doctors goes to a Xavier scholarship fund.
